Scheinwelten1: Lost Gravity is a movement and digital art research project developed during the Dock11 AR Residany 2022.
An interplay of visual, audio, and movement art, Scheinwelten 1 is based on a long-standing research on pyramids by Nadja (Haas) Dances, focusing on the potential influences of geometric shapes on our body, mind, and finally movement. Inspired by the Egyptian pyramid, a smaller version as a sculpture made by Nadja out of copper tubes (1.57m high forming a 2x2sqm) has been used for the rehearsals and for recording the movement material with the dancers. For the Open Lab, it becomes a 3 screen video installation using TouchDesigner and Unreal Engine accompanied by a performance by Nadja Haas.
